PUN-IMALS ILLUSTRATIONS
A collection of rhyming/pun-named animal illustrations done in Procreate. They were designed with the intention of becoming stickers, and were recently turned into sticker sheets for sale at local markets and events. I brainstormed names before sketching out the illustrations, which proved more difficult for Fraud Frog and Fish Bitch when deciding how to visually represent their titles. I settled on a stereotypical diva persona for Fish Bitch, basing her design on a flowerhorn cichlid, and con-man persona for Fraud Frog complete with fake watch and wispy mustache.
ADVENTURE TIME: BMO
Vector illustration concepts of BMO from Adventure Time. The first illustration shows a simple scene that portrays the character’s personality. I followed this up with a pattern to explore the many expressions of BMO with a few fun color variations. I determined the pattern would look good on tote bags, if they were to be made into merchandise.

PEANUTS: Cozy SNOOPY
With the new boom of interest in Snoopy with the younger generations, I wanted to practice my vector skills on everyone’s favorite pup. I sketched out poses and elements for a cottagecore themed Snoopy pattern, which I then put into illustrator and re-drew and refined with the pen tool. I played with a few color options, creating seamless patterns variations.

Rise of the infected (Part 1): Characters
I had the opportunity to illustrate characters for book one, part one, of the Rise of the Infected science fiction YA series by Anyssia Thornberry and Tyler Thornberry. The authors provided a detailed document of character descriptions such as ethnicity, personality, powers, clothing and physique to start with, while leaving much room for my own artistic interpretation.
I played with facial features and poses, aiming to show each character's personality and give them all a unique look in a semi-realistic style. For some characters, their special abilities are also visible such as Vibrate's vibrating hands and Netic's wrist "ports".
